Better late than never I suppose. We enjoyed ourselves this past Holiday Weekend.

Food Photography at Fieldhouse Jones

We were asked by the new Chicago speakeasy Janitor’s closet (located in Fieldhouse Jones Hotel) to help with photographing their new cocktail menu. They instructed us to go in whatever direction we wanted, to which we promptly went to town creating creative images that had some wonderfully hilarious themes.

We had the unique opportunity to photograph some of the most interesting individuals during Chicago Rosemont Tattoo Arts Convention in March 2019. I was struck by how kind these people were— they were extremely appreciative of the hard work we put in photographing them at the Invisible Ink Tattoo removers booth. Check out some of the more interesting shots below.

Floating down the river in Xochimilco, Mexico City

They’re not paddles. They’re more like long sticks that push the boats forward.

Hitting other boats is not entirely uncommon. We probably did it 20 times over the course of 2 hours.

Last month with Bremont watches

I had the wonderful privilege of working with Bremont Watches during the America's Cup in Bermuda. This watch was a head turner and incredible to test. It was a bit thicker than I'm used to, but I saw how intricate the details were and really learned to appreciate the extra craftsmanship. I loved the slick design (not to complicated, which is what I'm attracted to) and the clean watch band. It felt stiff, but loosened up a bit after a few wears. The chronograph was fun to use, albeit I found my self playing with it rather than actually using it.

It was incredible hearing about how Bremont was started as well as getting to know their line. I gained a major appreciation for fine watch making
