Over his 20-year career, Dan has shot over 500 projects with politicians, artists, celebrities, and major brands, producing over 2 million photographs. He began with a passion for BMX photography in high school, collaborating with top publications to push the limits of visual storytelling.

While earning his BA in photography at Columbia College, he honed his skills shooting weddings and portraits. After graduating, he opened a studio in downtown Chicago, where he captured everything from live brain surgery to Joffrey Ballet dancers, developing his talent for working in challenging environments.

Dan later expanded into global travel photography, shooting campaigns for Icelandair, Finnair, Macallan Scotch, and dozens of hotels across more than 50 countries. In 2016, he expanded into filmmaking, bringing his photographic eye to cinematography with a focus on lighting and composition.

His documentary project “At Home With” profiles artists in their personal spaces across three countries. A licensed drone pilot and Hyatt-approved photographer, Dan remains a passionate visual storyteller—available for projects worldwide.
